Histoire et explication de Lullaby

 Lullaby, qui signifie « berceuse » en français, figure sur l’album Desintegration sorti en 1989. La chanson raconte un rêve que faisait souvent Robert Smith quand il était enfant, à savoir celui de se faire dévorer par une araignée géante. Mais Smith lui-même donnera une autre explication à Lullaby en déclarant aussi qu’il s’agit d’une chanson dénonçant et condamnant les maltraitances infligées aux enfants.

Biographie The Cure

The Cure est un groupe de rock et de new wave britannique, formé en 1976 à Crawley dans le Sussex de l’Ouest, qui a marqué les années 1980 et 1990. La formation actuelle est composée de Robert Smith, de Porl Thompson à la guitare, Simon Gallup à la basse et Jason Cooper à la batterie.
